The Jones Sport Scooter is a revolutionary design by David Jones and manufactured by him in Elwood, Australia. The frame is made of polypropylene. It is heat, chemical and fade resistant so it will not scratch like painted models. The rounded under body, flexibility, and 4" to 5.5" ground clearance makes it wonderful for riding on rough terrain. The front and rear caliper brakes make it easy to stop quickly when riding on any city street and the built in shock absorbers and 16" wheels give you a smooth comfortable ride every time.
As with all our other products you don't have to have a Husky to enjoy this scooter with your dog. Since you can help your pooch out by helping to push things along, just about any breed, even small ones, can scooter.
There is no special equipment needed to hook up your dog. Any standard leash attached to your dogs harness, with the hand end slipped around the handle bar, will work fine. If you don't have a harness, go to the Nordkyn page. Their harness' are custom made to your dogs measurements plus they're padded at all stress points for a comfortable fit. It is suggested that a short leash (about 4'long) is best for populated areas like city streets & sidewalks so you can keep better control of your dog at corners and stop lights. A longer leash ( around 7') is suggested for trail riding so your dog can stretch out and run without the wheel being too close to his/her heals.
If you live where it snows, the best option of all is the interchangeable snow boards. At far less than it would cost to own a scooter for winter and a scooter for spring and summer, you can have both with this clever design.
